Our clear and fair policy on cancellations, refunds and security deposit returns.

* Delivery charge of ₹1,000 is non-refundable if equipment has already been dispatched.

1. How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel a booking, contact us as soon as possible:

Please provide your Booking ID (e.g. BK-XXXXXXXX) when contacting us. Verbal cancellations are not accepted — cancellation must be confirmed in writing via email or via a follow-up message after a call.

2. Security Deposit Refund

The security deposit of ₹5,000 is fully refundable in all cases where:

  • Equipment is returned in good condition after the rental period
  • There is no damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • All items are returned — none are missing
  • Equipment is returned on the agreed return date

The deposit will be returned to you within 7 working days of our inspection confirming that equipment is in acceptable condition.

Deductions from the security deposit will be made for:

  • Significant damage to equipment (broken bat, cracked helmet, torn pads, etc.)
  • Missing items or accessories
  • Stains, dirt or contamination requiring professional cleaning
  • Equipment returned after the agreed return date (late return charges apply)

If the cost of damage or loss exceeds the ₹5,000 deposit, Cricket Kit Rental Hub will invoice the renter for the balance amount, payable within 7 days.

3. Deposit Refund Method

The security deposit refund is processed using the same payment method used for the original payment. Refunds are processed within 7 working days of the return inspection being completed. Processing time may vary based on your bank or payment provider.

4. Tournament Package Cancellations

For tournament packages (10 kits or 20 kits):

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event: Full refund minus processing fees
  • Cancellations made 3–7 days before the event: 50% refund of rental amount
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the event: No refund on rental amount
  • Security deposit is always refunded if no equipment was dispatched

5. Subscription Plan Cancellations

For monthly subscription plans:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at the end of any billing month.
  • Cancellation mid-month does not entitle a partial refund for the unused days.
  • To cancel a subscription, notify us at least 7 days before your next billing date.
  • The security deposit is refunded upon return of equipment in good condition at the end of the subscription period.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Cricket balls (sold items — consumed during play)
  • Delivery charge (once equipment has been dispatched)
  • Rental amount for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of delivery

7. Damaged or Defective Equipment

If you receive equipment that is defective or damaged on arrival:

  • Report this to us within 2 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
  • We will arrange replacement equipment where possible.
  • If replacement is not possible, a full refund for that item will be issued.
  • Failure to report damage within 2 hours means you accept the equipment in its delivered condition.

8. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.) that prevent us from fulfilling a booking, we will offer a full refund of all amounts paid including the deposit.
